Could Alex-Ro please post up a number from the range 1 - 17 and once that number is up I will release the password to the archive.

I would like to thank each and every one who participated in this challenge, the fact that there were 6 people in the 55000 ER is simply stunning. I had a whole heap of fun with this challenge and I do hope you all did too. New friends were made and new things were learnt.

Hi.. I just ran super Pi 32M.. I have the screen shot of it: (Not able to post image 😞 ) .. Am new to this.. Not sure how it works and, what to do.. 🙂 Any pointers from where to start on Super pi and, image upload?

P.S: I am getting a Database Error whenever I try uploading the image. Image size is 1920x1080 and, type is png, size is 829.9KB..

Thanks,
KP

http://valid.canardpc.com/2693549 CPU-Z Validator link. How do I decrease the time for the super pi to be in the 6sec mark? Thanks again..

What you need to do is save your image as a jpeg. They are a whole lot smaller in KB

To answer your PM question. For 1 mil the only thing that makes any real difference is your clock speed if your system is tweaked.
7.210 is a very good time to aim for at 5GHz.

HVm.. Thanks a lot sir for the reply.. Here is the JPEG.. 17144 Strange! It got uploaded while the png didn't 🙂 Anyways.. How do I get it to the 7.210 Value?? As of now its 7.519.. Average I saw as 7.18 for the 3570k.. Again.. Thanks a lot for the reply.. 🙂

Also, if you stop the Services and quit explorer during the run (to take off load from your CPU), you may get couple seconds...

The folks who have 5.21 or 5.18 scores are tweaking the heck out of their systems my friend.

To get close you are going to need a fresh OS install. I like to use XP for Super Pi.
No drivers, no chipset inf installed.
Only Super pi

You can try and work out your ram timings to get them as tight as they will go for a successful run of super pi but honestly the size of the onboard cache these days means the entire 1 mil calculation is done on die.

List your hardware and I might be able to offer a few pointers.
