In many ways I have a stronger affinity for the first RB than the newer one.

Which core Viz?;)...me too..I like 32Mil because it was my introduction to benching really, in the first comp and I loved the whole crazy wazza thing etc....then after a while and I was a wee bit more competent along came RB1.1 and the whole benching thing clicked that bit more so yeah...affinity is the right word!

It is true, for me too. My first benchmark ever was 2001SE and I still love that bench. Nothing compares to getting that one just right. Then comes 32mil because of the huge array of complexity that goes into the successful running of it.

Last year that time, I didn't know even how to OC my CPU guys! And it was Vizman's May Madness that put me in these things. I love 3dmark 2001. It's that bench, attracted me so much, that made me jump in and lately SPi32 that made me change my mind about the 2D ones. RB1 was a milestone that made me test thousand things, so, it will always be in my heart. Anyway, from total noob to today, in one year, I feel very rich in knowledge. Thank you guys, for the great inspiration and the great companion you gave to me.
