Powered USB Ports are the one's on the back of the Motherboard, on the I/O Panel 🙂

I think that is just another one of those silly marketing terms, pretending to know what they are talking about.

Overclocking is useless to me if it is not rock stable.

I think it refers to any USB port able to supply bus power, which is pretty much any direct port. Passive (not externally powered) USB hubs would not be suitable but any other USB port should. I think you may be thinking of the AI Charger capabilities RoG motherboards have, which can supply extra power to certain USB and eSATA ports when enabled in BIOS for faster charging of modern phones and media devices that support it.

Yes. After I posted my prev, I was looking at a keyboard model, W/a USB port in it. And it occurred to me this would be an example of a non-powered USB port, that is to say the keyboard was taking some of the power from the USB power, and since it did not have a power adapter the included USB port would be further limited in power output - as compared to a mobo USB port. So the headphones should not be plugged in to such a port. FYI.
