So I fear I may have a 27" paperweight sitting on my desk. I purchased a thunderbolt display and quickly realized I couldn't just hook it up like every other monitor. Doing research, after the fact, I see that it requires the use of a ThunderboltEX II add-in card. This card's spec says that the board requires a TB_HEADER output, which I see at the bottom of the board. I also don't see the FORMULA listed in the list of supported boards, but I'm not sure how up-to-date that list is.
My question is, if I get the add-in card, can I use the Thunderbolt Display?
