ROG Front Base and CPU Fan Error

Anyone having an issue with a AIO cooling unit and the Front Base? I'm running a Formula VII MB with a Thermaltake Water 3.0 Extreme Cooler. This cooler has the fans connect to a Y connection and then one connection to the MB. I have said connection plugged into the main CPU fan connection on the MB, and it's working correctly, but my Front Base reads 0000 RPM for the fan speed. On a cold start, I'm also getting a POST error saying there is a problem with the CPU Fan (One long beep, followed by 4 additional short beeps), that only occurs on a cold start, not a shut down restart.

PC has been running fine for two days with temps in the low to mid 30's.

Yes, well i have a watercooling unit aswell, the problem there is normally that it doesnt detect the watercooling unit unless it is connected directly. so if your Watercooling Unit has a 3, 4 pin connector try to connect this, otherwise i dont think it will display something, since it gets its information out of the Fan COnnectors from the CPU Connector

How can two fans running on a Y cable report their speed to the MB? Do you know how it works? If so, you'd know that it can't work.

that's okay if your pc is running well, as long as the fan is work 🙂
