RIVE overclock pr44 (oblems

Using the UEFI advanced bios utility on the 4403 bios. I'm running a 3930k and 16 gb 2133 ram. first off the ram speed is was default set at 1333. When I adjusted it I went to 2133 and task manager gives me that reading. When looking at CPU overclocking for the RIVE, I noticed that the guides were older and I couldn't find the turbo ratio setting anymore. Playing around I made all the cores set to a ratio of 44 (4400mhz). When I save and exit my computer turns off, turns on with no display, turns off again and goes to windows. Looking at the speeds my RAM is at 1033 speed and I'm not too sure about the CPU speed either. I have a corsair h110 so the remps are in check (37 degrees celcius in the BIOS) and I have a 1200axi so the power is covered. Any ideas to make it work? I really don't want to mess anything up, but I want good performance from my CAD, rendering, and gaming 🙂

Can you list your components, if it is one set of 2133, try XMP profile, then 44 and reboot, post back with results and we should be able to get you there. The 4403 bios is updated for Ivy bridge processors so a little has changed for the guides but they are still the best place to start

Please download and open CPUz.

To see what your actual frequency is on your processor have some back ground application running like a AV application otherwise you will see the throttled back frequency which is how it should be.

In CPUz check with the mem tab to see what your actual memory frequency is. 1033 could be the defaults or it could be 2066MHz as DDR stands for double data rate.
