RIVBE + WD hdds issues

Hi guys, I am putting together my new computer and prior to transferring my data to the new hard drives I always test to check they are healthy. The new drives are 2 WD2002FAEX-00MJRA0. Turns out that when I pass WD data lifeguard diagnostics under DOS, both drives randomly, not always, show an busy timeout error (0134). I did the same test in my former computer, Abit IP35pro, with same result. Doing further testing I have come to realize that this happens in AHCI mode, but in IDE mode they show no error (both computers). Also in the asmedia controller of the RIVBE they show no error. I wanted to see if this was a general issue with all the WD drives, but looks like it's not, as a WD raptor in the Abit in AHCI mode tests perfect. So it looks this happens with this particular mode with Intel controller in AHCI mode. Has anyone seen this? Can anyone test if they have the same drives? What is your opinion, should I be concerned? Thank you all

Have two each WD2002FAEX-007BA drives - running in AHCI - no problems since installation two plus years ago. System particulars in sig.

Thx for your input. Have you tested with dlgdiag for dos?

No, I have not - no need to as no problems experienced.

It could just be that the tool you are using has issues with the bios? I have not used WD mechanical drives for some time so not able to do a test for you.
To help us help you - please provide as much information about your system and the problem as possible.

I think it could be some incompatibility between WD diagnostics tools and the drives or their firmware under the above mentioned circumstances, as it happens in more than one computer. I have opened a support cause with WD but I am having real difficult time to get someone to give me some actual support to analyze this issue. Also considering that this could be a bug on their software or firmware.
