i have had a brows on hear for reasonable temps for the mobo and had no luck.
i have attached a pic with the temps at the moment mind you my room is warm at the moment as of the cpu temp is higher than normal on stranded load, also it is not over clocked either.
my question is is the mb temp ok or is that high ?

Dude, what are you worried about? That is one chilly CPU.

Hi DrWho, Motherboard temp is perfectly fine even at 40c. CPU temp at 13.5c is out of this world good. Can I ask what cpu cooler you are using?

just been reading your thread on your processor issues XD

ok that's good what would be classed as to hot for the mobo also i do know that the rampage 5 has now a fan on that heat sink that is getting hot.

Oh yes. My oh my that is a hot motherboard. What is your CPU cooler, what case do you have, where are the fans positioned and are you running SLI/CFX?

Yes, please do not try what I tried, while temps were reasonable it could not handle that kind of voltage. Your mobo temp should not go any higher than the 40c odd you are seeing. If it was running past say 60c, there would be cause for concern as it could be a faulty heat sink mount. You have nothing to worry about. If you can control that particular fan, turn it up some if you feel uncomfortable with the temp.
