I've had my G-60jx laptop for nearly two years and decided to do a full reinstall of Windows and start again from scratch as it was getting a bit sluggish. (probably not my best move)
Unfortunately, doing so has removed all the CPU overclock settings so I'm now stuck with a clock speed of about 1.6Ghz.
I've never overclocked any of my PC's before so I'm in very unfamiliar territory.
Does anyone know if the original factory overclocks are stored in the computer anywhere so as to be reinstated? Failing that, Is there a simple ASUS utility to overclock the CPU?
I'm (almost) literally tearing my hair out over this, so any help would be VERY much appreciated.
