Rampage IV GENE, socket-2011 PCIe configuration

Hello,

Let's say I'm using a processor with 40 PCIe lanes. As far as I understand the PCIe interface of the motherboard will divide these among the number of lanes it provides. If more lanes are available on the motherboard they are divided by switches etc. How is the PCIe configuration set up on the Rampage IV GENE? I count x44 lanes.

While I think the CPU has 40 lanes 8 of them are to the chipset and the black PCIe slot...and the remaining are to the PCIe lanes so 32....giving you the PCIe posibilities x16 x16 x16x8x8 that sort of thing
