RAM Voltages

I am attempting to tighten the timings of my Corsair Vengeance 8gb PC312800 9-9-9-24-2T to 8-8-8-24-2T. I set the voltage to 1.55v, yet I got a BSOD soon after booting into Windows. Can someone help me? My board is a Maximus IV Gene-Z with a 2500K CPU.

i5-2500k@4.6/GTX570@850

I couldn't see the code

You should run Memtest after changing your timings. OCing memory takes time and you need to lower your timings 1 step at a time if your current settings are 9-9-9-24-2T then set them to 8-9-9-24-2T and run memory test if that does not work then try 8-9-9-26-2T. You will need to have some patients when OCing memory to get the most out of your rig.

There is a USB stick version of Memtest too if you prefer.
