Quick SLI Question

Do I have to use the SLI bridge for 3 way SLI or can I use the ribbons instead.....

I do. A couple of them. I have to scatter the cards, and they are not long enough...

Gnarly, do you need SLI bridge or CrossFire bridge?

I see that you have 3x HD7970s... - for those, you need two CrossFire bridges... just connect the first card to the second with one bridge and connect the second card to the third one with the second bridge...

For a 3-way SLI, with Nvidia cards, you can use the bridge came with the RIVE...

different build. 3 titans on the new one. they are spaced out in a weird config based upon the manual. it is not a ROG board. Asrock extreme 11.

Oh, I see! Then you definitely need the SLI bridges... 🙂

I would start with trying the same things with two ribbon bridges... - first card to the second and second to the third... (not sure that you need the first to the third one) give it a try, you won't broke anything...
