Qcode 00 related to ROG Front Base ??

Hey guys,

im fairly new to the whole building a pc thing, and English is not my native language, so bear with me.

I receive Qcode 00 when i try to start my system with the ROG_EXT cable plugged in the motherboard. (The PSU was off before)

When the ROG_EXT cable is unplugged it all works fine, and i can plug the cable on without any problems (is this a bad thing to do ?...because it seems like a bad thing to plug a cable on a powered motherboard :P)

When i shut down my system (and this time NOT my PSU) I also experience no problems.

Does anybody understand this ?

System Specs are:

Corsair AX 860
Maximus VI Extreme
i7-4790K
16 GB Corsair Vengeance @ 2400
No GPU Yet
Samsung 840 EVO

Many Thx in advance !

Wolfi,

what happens when you power off your system completely ? (power off PSU) and then try to turn it back on.

Thx,
Matt

I get a doubleboot and than it starts as in the video.

Seeing that cable mess has made me cringe!!

Check the ROG_EXT cable, esp the connectors on both ends, sounds to me like there is a dodgy connection with the plugs on 1 end or poss both that causing your issue.
