Before I get into details (and what I've tried to correct it), I wanted to make sure this was the right place to post for help on this issue...

Try cleaning your DIMM slots using compressed air and the DIMM contacts with Isopro, as there may be some contamination.
Also check you have your DIMMs seated correctly, with the single sided clips, sometimes the offside is not pushed all the way home.
