Hi! I made a video of the problem im experiencing and a temporary fix. Maybe someone will find this post useful, I hope someone from ASUS sees this and updates the BIOS with these fixes or provides some technical support in the comments below. Its very frustrating dealing with this and this is not the first time im having issues with asus motherboards. Thank you, please watch the video. https://youtu.be/H8FdNK10H2w?feature=shared

BIOS 0606
EXPO I : OK
New results when I change of M2 port.
Sabrent Rocket 4.0 1TB on M.2_4 :
Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1TB on M.2_3 :
The tests are very unstable... it's better for the write but for example, the Samsung lost in read !
Really not the true capacity of this NVME, on my B550 it was better... for a 175 euros motherboard... a shame this X870E ! All are buggy.
GPU come back to X16 PCIe
The only thing I haven't done yet is to completely reinstall Windows 11 Pro. Maybe there are conflicts with AMD drivers and the Chipset but I installed the latest version, normally Windows should not be the cause. Especially when you see how the motherboard behaves just by moving the NVMe... and the problems with EXPO...

Interesting. For me I may have narrowed down the cause of my stutter. For some reason, enabling expo causes the GPU x 16 slot to be stuck at PCI 2 express speeds on random boots. A reboot usually fixes it. The same issue occurs without expo on, but it it appears much more rarely. Perhaps there is some issue with expo causing PCI express bandwidth to be affected because it looks like the NVME drives were affected previously as well. I’m not sure.

BIOS 0606
EXPO II : OK
New results when I change of M2 port + New install of Windows + only installation of all the pilots by Asus.
Sabrent Rocket 4.0 1TB on M.2_4 :
It's better for writing. So I consider this resolved with th new installtion of Windows.

I didn't have this problem on 0606 but got problem with EXPO not working on 0706 😞
bios just enter with info that computer is not stable. Kingston Fury beast 2x32 6400 mem. 😞
9800x3d. On 0606 all works fine, even overclocking 9800xcd to 5.7 but on 0706 I can't put expo on 😞

Why to change of BIOS if all are fine with the BIOS 0606 ? For testing ?
Personally the BIOS 0606 runs relatively well and I will not test the 0706 BIOS because I don't see what it really improves.

My FanController can't find my fans. And there was a fan fix so I wanted to see if that was the fix 🙂

Did you turn off the Core Tuning Config For Gaming?
"ASUS has a variety of exclusive BIOS features for its AM5 motherboard lineup and the company is now introducing a brand-new feature called "Core Tuning Config For Gaming" which should boost gaming performance on systems running the latest AMD Ryzen CPUs.
the new feature fine-tunes the clock (CAS) timings for the memory and the CCDs running on an AM5 motherboard and results in lower latencies than what users were able to get previously. "

No it was not on, if it's not on by default. Clean reset of bios settings. Installed 0706.
Boot up as normal, took a time at qr code 15 as usual. Windows was fine. Did no stress test.
Enter bios turned on EXPI 1, 2 and could not boot, just enter bios again and complain about safe mode.

Just joining this thread to say same issue. If all 4 identical sticks are in, I can not enable expo of any type. This is on 0706 bios.

Make sure not to combine kits if reporting issues
Doesn't matter if they're the same kits.
