I am going to get a new psu, and i have narrowed it down to these 3. maybe some others, but these are common up here in the north globe..

some differences between them...

gear> 3930k
Gpus> 3 pcs

Overclocked?... is the hellfire hot?

Please let me know your opinion, and why, and if u have any experiences with any of them..

i have several 1000 and 1200w, but i dont want to use dual psu's in this setup

I think they are all good to go..

I have problems with the Silverstone simply because each 12v rail is maxed at 25A

The Enermax is a little better as each of the 12v rails are 30A

The Cooler Master has heaps of PCIe connectors for graphic cards, and the 12v rail is split in two, 55A and 70A I think it was. Sorry Grott it has been a while since I used this one. But I was quite happy with the one I had.

Personally I am still using Antec Quadro 1200w PSU for all my benching but you want a 1500W and I do not have anything else that can be had in Sweden.

Yes, but the 25 amp, is on the paper, yes.. irl i think u will get more juice out of it..

i am leaning towards the Enermax.. But the multi rail thing, dont speak to me..

i think it has 2 dedicated 12v rails, and the rest is a "share"

Antec have something similar going on with their new PSU range, and I have yet to max out their new 1200W beast on the 12v rails. http://www.antec.com/Believe_it/PSU/index.php

Look Enermax is a quality PSU and years back was king for sure. Not sure how they are now, been a few years since I used one you see. And I do not want to recommend something unless I have used one.

http://www.antec.com/product.php?id=2129&pid=94 This one I use a lot.

And this one I have been testing the last three weeks now. http://www.antec.com/product.php?id=2634&pid=94

Why 1500 Watts?!?! That is almost an entire 120 Volt-15 Amp circuit in the USA! Make sure you have very little else on that circuit ...no hairdryers, vacuum cleaners, etc. Still, what is going into that sweet system?
I am disturbed because I cannot break my system...found out there were others trying to cope! We have a support group on here, if your system will not break, please join!

I have only experience with the 1500W Silverstone...

Look at the pics on the post #18 in one of my threads: http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?11974-BlackBeauty-to-be-born-beginnings/page2

That was a beast... a fully watercooled setup with 980X on R3E and 3xGTX480s... a lot of fans, lights, RAID card, 2 SSDs, 2 HDDs... - and the CPU and GPUs were OC'd... and the Silverstone was handling it just fine...

It's like a mule... just working, no matter what 🙂 recently had a small accident with it - it felt down from aprox 5 feet while it was on... and still working...

The only real issue for me with it is that does not have a switch on the back... I have to unplug it every time I want a complete power off...

There you go - the 480's where seriously power hungry. Not sure how overclocked your VGA's are going to be Grott but at least you have a yardstick to work from.
