Performance Question!

So I've been purchasing the parts for my new pc. Its going to have an i7 3770k in it and im currently running a fx4100. I was wandering how much of a performance I will see with the upgrade. Your answers won't effect anything except my enthusiasm.

Now, that's an other question how exactly do you define the "performance"...

Well just general really there arent any benchmarks comparing the two because from what ive seen they arent even comparable. Dont need exact numbers just a dont expect too much or it beats it by a landslide will do. But stats and stuff like that is always helpful such as bench scores

In benchmarks the 3770k is clearly beating the FX-4100... you can go to the HWBOT and compare them... 🙂

I was asking about the definition of "performance", because not always a significant difference in benchmarks shows up in everyday use...
