your motherboard has a reset bios switch on it. You probably read about it 4 or 5 times in that article.

Yep, just clear CMOS and start again....if your CPU really can't do 4.5 with the suggested voltage from that article maybe try a lower multiplier 43 or 44 and see if that works. Just make sure you follow the guide exactly 🙂

Maybe post up your full system specs too

hm.... i treid doing it manual, but it just cant boot with that voltage, probably too low for a V formula, the article i read was using a Gene.

I used the OC program included in ASUS AI suite 2, and got the CPU to 4.6 on 1.33v, ran prime95 and got an average max temp of 77c, is this a good score? Btw, the OC didnt seem to get the right frequency for my Ram, should adjust it back manually via Bios?

Much better to have a good read of this guide and set yourself up an OC that way....will probably be able to do it with less volts than presets and therefore less temp http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?19186-ASUS-ROG-Maximus-V-Formula-UEFI-OC-Tuning-Guide&count...

But that Temp is OK

Welcome to the Republic of Gamers forum, Sebastian.twz.

Just for future reference. If your system fails to boot in the future due to an instable overclock, just push and hold the power button on your case. Your system will shut down. When you press the power button again, it will power up with an Overclocking failed message. And everything will be back to normal. There is nothing to fear.
