Overclocking help needed

I have 2133 Patriot Viper RAM and my Asus Crosshair V Formula runs it automatically at 1600. When I enter the bios and set it to anything above it causes windows 8 to crash and gives me the "blue screen"! Where can I secure detailed instructions on overclocking my ram, etc for my particular setup? Thanks for any help - My build is below.

AMD FX-8350 (OC to 4.5 currently)
Radeon 7970 with 3gb RAM (OC some)
32gb Patriot Viper 2133 RAM

There is a short guide in my signature that might be of use to you. In your case, you wouldn't see the X.M.P. option but instead you'll have the D.O.C.P. option.

Not sure if upgrading to the CHVF-Z will save you the time for memory tweaking... - have you checked CHino's guide yet? Or there is a CHVF OCing guide in the Crosshair mobo section too...

32GB of memory is a large amount to handle it... - is it a single kit or you mixed two kits? You could try removing half of the modules and see if it's working...
