Overclocking and using the Exchange.

Hi in4thekill here,

Again excuse my ignorance of the subject. I wish to overclock my V Gene and i5-3570K cpu. Reading information on ROG I see that I need my bios to be version 1309 for some of the profiles on the exchange. I see from the ASUS bios downloads there is an update to the bios to version 1408. Do I update my bios to 1309 or can I go to 1408 and use the profiles set at 1309?

I appreciate the help.

it's always more stable to upgrade the bios to it's latest version, you can use AI Suite Update to update your BIOS, and about the overclocking, it's best that you do it yourself or use the Auto Level Up, considering not every computer has the same hardware, you may have the golden chip which overclocks even further then normal 😄
