Overclock strix 1080ti not OC - problem...help pls

Hi
I needed some help because I tried to overclok my 1080ti not-OC strix.
I tell you ... my friend made me change the voltage curve by lowering the voltage to 1025 and raising the
vcore to 2025 .... just crash with heaven ... i tried to raise the voltage ... but nothing to do ... is stable at 2000
only with voltage 1062 ...
For now, the most stable I found it at 1949mhz with voltage at 1031 ...
I wanted to ask you ... is it so much the difference between 1949 and 2025 for performance?
can you recommend me another way to do oc?
thank you so much

I have a Strix GTX 1080 guide in my signature you can follow. The steps are the same for the Strix GTX 1080 Ti. 🙂

If overclocking the card for the first time it's best not to adjust the voltage curve, and try a set voltage using the slider. If your friend adjusted the curve, revert to default and increase the slider only. Every card is different in terms of preferred voltage at a given frequency. Be sure to also increase the power target to 120%
