Overclock asus rampage iv extreme turn off a second then turns on, when i start my computer after its off for 5 mins or more.

Everything runs fine, but the start up 😄

Why is that?

i only overclocked the CPU to 4.3 1.37v

4930k Yes its a bad OC cpu, but it can run 4.4 with no problem.

Hi psych 🙂

this is normal. It's a double boot on so called "cold boot" when the board has been without power. When you OC the board wants to be sure memory training etc is perfect and after power loss it needs to reset to be sure...

Hi Arne

Thank you.

Can i disable it, so it only turn on 1 time? 😄

I dont need to board to be sure, i will be sure for it 😄

1 other thing, what is the max volt i should give it + what max temperature the CPU can take? + i do have water cooling on it.

No it's not something you can disable. When you power off the board doesn't have power to "remember" settings and needs to re run things to get set up for your OC...it's good that it does this...no harm done.

I would stay under 1.35v for any 24/7 OC and under 75 degrees for load temps certainly under 80.

I do get 1.424v my CPU needs power to run 😄 and the "CPU Package" is max 82 degrees for ½ sec and go down to 70, but the CPU 60 degrees and cores are about the 70 degrees too. in a stress test.

Hmm well, for me that would all be a bit too high but this is a personal thing so...

One thing though the VCCSA at 1.363v I hope that is not right?! Should not be that high...VCCSA And VTT at 1.1v is what you want to aim for if possible...check that in BIOS to make sure what you are running...

it runs 2400

Its 100% right 😄

Its what the RAM profile say it should be 😄
