whit a cappasity as this i would say its aimed for "servers" since its expensive.

According to the Z-Drive 4500's specification table, the SSD is capable of 2,900 MB/s sequential reads, 2,200 MB/s sequential writes, 252,000 IOPS random reads and 78,000 IOPS random writes. This is well above a standard desktop SSD, which usually tops out around 550 MB/s for sequential read/write and 100,000 IOPS for random reads.

I am buying this drive, I want to use it as a boot drive with my Rampage IV extreme mobo.

Should be reliable, toshiba now owns OCZ and they wouldn't release an enterprise product of this price and nature that isn't ultra high quality.

Also.. it's FAST.

I'm just making sure I can boot from it...... have a thread going here on this forum about it don't want to hijack this thread with that discussion, just wanted to say I'm buying this PCIE ssd and jump in on this discussion about it. thanks 🙂
