Ok so I've been playing around with my 7700k a little bit (new to OC). I can get a stable 5.0 ghz at 1.355 vcore (the VID will will spike to 1.424 sometimes) with temps spiking around 85 C during real bench. For gaming, the most demanding games will spike around 75 C with avg temps being between 55 and 65 C.
Or
I can get a stable OC of 4.9 with a vcore of 1.30 (VID spikes around 1.36) and temps spiking at 79 C during RealBench and being about 5-10 C lower during gaming.
The cooler I use is a Corsair H100i v2 and my mobo is the Maximus IX Hero.
My question is... Is It ok to run the 5.0 ghz OC 24/7 or should I back it down to the 4.9 ghz? Let me know your thoughts.
