O.C Using Different Multiplayer Per Core

Hello everyone. I have Maximus V Extreme motherboard with i7 2600k CPU, and I have a question regarding overclocking using different multiplayer for each core.

My question is: How exactly can I calculate the proper voltage? Based on which core multiplayer?

You base your voltage on the highest multiplier and if using manual voltage the voltage will stay at that level constantly.

Is there any reason you are trying to use that particular option to overclock?

Yeah, PC seems to be stable using this way of overclocking.

I activated gamers profile on the motherboard, however the voltage set doesn't seem appropriate for the highest multiplayer as you mentioned and despite that, OC seems stable.

Multiplayers are 45, 46, 47, 48 @ 1.350 voltage which is not the proper voltage for 4.8ghz o.c at all... however it is stable? that's why I am asking.

Just saying there is no proper voltage for a CPU, they are all different, if you used gamer profile on the MB it will set the voltage that will work for one CPU batch. The best is to increase the multiplier and voltage manually.

But if it fits your need keep it like HiViz said 🙂
