New X870E Hero BTF with Astral 5090 OC BTF and poor benchmarks

I just completed a build with a new ROG CROSSHAIR X870E HERO BTF, AMD 9950X3D, and ROG-ASTRAL-RTX5090-O32G-BTF-GAMING. I have a SeaSonic PRIME TX-1600 Noctua Edition 1600W PSU. The 5090 is using the BTF 12v GC-HPWR connector. I also have a ROG RYUJIN III 360 ARGB AIO.

BIOS 1805

I ran 3DMark benchmarks, and the results are disappointing. The Graphics Score is towards the bottom. See below.

RAM = G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB 64 GB (2 x 32 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30

I have only enabled EXPO Profile 1 in the BIOS and have done nothing else.

I have tried different profiles in GPU Tweak III, but nothing can get above 30,000 total score. I am using Tweak v2.0.6.1.

Something must be going on to have results this low with such a high-end motherboard, CPU, and GPU.

Please advise!

I have issue connecting my 5090 astral to crosshairs hero Btf due where place facing are does anyone else have fix around this  as can’t get it to click

I assume you've removed the covers from the PCIE and power slots? Did you press open the latch? Do you have clearance in your case?

you will need to shunt mod your gpu to get a 55,000 gpu score . there are a few tweaks that can help with your score such as increasing the ram infinity fabric(fclk) to 2133. and a few tweaks to the cpu with pbo . the guys at the middle and top are professional overclockers to be fair

9800X3D / 64GB 6000 CL30 / 5080

thanks for that info!

the issue I am having is that someone I've been talking to on Discord has the same mobo and same GPU, but has a 7800X3D (I have a 9950X3D) and his graphics score on the same 3DMark benchmark is 47816, whereas mine is 36449. And, he hasn't done anything to his setup (no OCing, etc...just stock OOB).

but I am realizing now he may have had lower resolution display?

i just ran Speed Way and got 15,046, which seems pretty solid.

To close this out, disabling SVM and IOMMU in the BIOS, and also making sure the PCIEX16_Bandwidth Bifurcation is set to PCIe X16 Mode, not "Auto," increased my Time Spy score to 35,000.
