Your freezes could indeed be related to your DIMMs. Run Memtest86,
Download to an empty USB stick then change your boot settings in the BIOS to boot from usb priority. Let it run for 2 passes and its best to run one DIMM at a time. Then run Memtest again with all slots populated. That at least will eliminate possible RAM issues.
I don't think aisuite is all that bad and there are some good features. Just exit the software to run other monitors as you will have unreliable conflicts. RealBench 2 rocks for testing and benching imo.
