Had a look on the Noctua website, and they are releasing a new heatsink mids April to replace the famous NH-D14.
I just placed an order for the Phanteks PH-TC14PE, but i think will cancel that and see how the new NH-D15 will perform compared to the old model.

do you guys think it will be a big improvement from the NH-D14?

Unless I'm mistaken, the only changes are a slightly tighter fin density on a slightly larger heat sink, and the larger fans (lower airflow, lower static pressure, but much quieter). The heat pipes and plate are the same type as the NH-D14.

I tend to trust changes made by Noctua were well tested, but I am still curious to see what higher flow fans would do on that sink.

there is no more info on the fans (static pressure) apart from air flow 140,2 cfm which is the same as the NF-A14 fans.

2013 OCN - NH-D15 mentioned at 4:17 - also mentions new fan colors for those of you who (inconceivably) don't like the tan/brown color scheme.
