righty I thought I would put this in a new thread as I thought I solved it but its still happening . computer is a fresh build and has done this since day 1. the pc randomly fires up some times its after 30 seconds from shut down and some times its off all night and when I come down in the morning it will turn on half way through my Tea ! I have been through device manager and turned off all (allow device to turn on this computer ) I have tried leaving the keyboard and mouse disconnected Im stumped !
specs are rampage iv black edition i7 4820 OC to 4.3 g.skill 2400 ram 16Gig windows 7 pro novatech moduler 750w hybred 2t drive r9 280x
Really annoying now after a shut down I have to turn off at the wall this messes up my clock in windows 😞 tried all sorts now still random powering up after shut down gonna remove the power switch tonight and check again incase a short some where
LOL, you tick of the NSA, FBI, or CIA? ....... on another note.. i know it's strange.. but.. are all you connections tight? Usually a loose connection will cause it. Did you double check all your connections? I found one on mine (fyi).
Yeah its really odd been off all night tonght soon as a walk into the room this morn of she goes againgonna spend today re looking at the wiring . If its the psu ill just live with it untill I upgrade my graphics card .

If I had an awesome system like yours, I certainly wouldn't put it at risk using a no name PSU. lol
The plot thickens turned of xmp because of another issue with hot mosfets and instability and the random resyarting seems to have gone little early to know fore sure but im stumped
