Hi guys, i am new to ROG product 😄

I wanna to have best OC settings, voltage and stuf.... for my intel i5 3570k on this good mobo 😄

So come and post some advice and tips how to do the best OC in my case.

For now my settings are like this:

CPU voltage in full load is 1.280v, 4.4Ghz , XMP profile set with memory on 1600mhz(8GB).
ratio: 100x44, all auto settings only LLC on regular and i am using offset mode + 0.70

Wprime test 1024m pass, max tem on HWmonitor is 72C.

Cinebeanch 11.5 score 7.36

Welcome, OldBarton, to the ROG Forum!

If you're new to OC'ing, I would advise you to start with reading the stickies in the Maximus mobo section of this Forum...

Then you have to be aware that every system (CPU, mobo, RAM, VGA) is unique, there are no "standard" OC settings... practically everyone has to experiment the best settings for itself...

If all of these all clear, then perhaps you will have specific questions...

I do have one right now though... what are you using to cool your CPU?

HI Zka17,

I understood that about our differences in OC(CPU, mobo , ram).my cpu.

I am using Corsair H50 for cooling my cpu.

Cheers

The Corsair H50 is a mid-range cooler... there are air-coolers which would outperform that easily... - I'm just saying these to understand that your OC will be limited by the temps...

Which temp is 72C on HWMonitor? You should focus only on core temps... and keep them below 75C (at max load) if you want that CPU for long term...

Yea mate, the h50 is def mid range i know 😞

Planning soon to go with H100 for cooling or Noctua air?

The core temps are maximum 68C, one core or 2, 2 others are lower. I meant on package temp - 72C temp

And about voltages.....is it too much if i OC my i5 3570k at 4.7Ghz with 3.7v with temps 88 maximum?

Or when OC, do i rly have to stick with 75C temp in maximum load, that's the best right, NOT TO GO OVER 75C temps?

3.7v - that's the version number of the HWMonitor, right?

Can you post a picture (screenshot) with HWMonitor, CPU-Z (CPU tab) open after max CPU load? wPrime 1024 is good to load your CPU...

i think he means volt ( 4.7Ghz with 3.7v ) on that ( but i can be wrong )

I hope, not, kkn... 3.7 volt on Vcore would make that system certainly smoking...

im also new to OC'ing but in case with 3.7 volts you can cook an egg =D

He might mean 1.37v
It would be impossible with 3.7v
