Maximus Gene V and H105 AIO pump

Hey gents,

I just installed a H105 AIO on my 3570K and was wondering how to tell what the pump speed is set at? It is plugged into one of the mainboard PWM controllers. What setting in the BIOS do I need to put the fan at to run the pump full speed? Thanks!

Look for the Fan Speed Monitor option. It should be in the Monitor tab. Depending on which fan header you connected your pump to, you'll see the RPM for it there.

I dont remember seeing a speed setting just, turbo, standar and quiet or something to that affect. Or disable.

The Fan Speed Monitor option only shows the RPM for the fans you have connected to the motherboard. The Fan Speed Control option on the other hand lets you adjust the speed for each of them. If you're using 3 pin fans, you can only use Duty Mode (Standard, Quiet, Turbo) to control them. If they are 4 pin fans, you can control them via temperature.

Ok I that answers why my options are limited, the H105 header is only 3 pin. I was just curious what mode I can set it to in order to get full power to the pump all the time? I am guessing it would be turbo mode?

That is correct.

Now I can't speak for the H105. But most of the AIO liquid systems have a fixed pump speed which means you cannot change it from running always at 100%.
