Hello Guys. After updating my Uefi bios (ver. 2801 - ASUS Maximus VII HERO Z97) a new setting appeared. Its called "MAX EDRAM RATIO" My question is: Do I have to disable it for daily use / overclocking? I use an i7 4790k. I read somewhere its for the iGPU or something (i dont know exactly) i dont use the iGPU either way - or is it based on the Auto rule optimization ?

I really hope someone can help me, cause i have Problems to get my overclocking stable.. (i guess its cause of my 1866 ram)

Hello

That setting is for use with Broadwell processors.

Hello

It is an irrelevant setting for Haswell so the entry is ignored regardless of how it is set.
