Large finger/Hand keyboard

Greetings all, I figured I would start here where all of the PC/console gamers were bound to be. I know all of you superpstars could help me decide!
First off I have been a PC gamer since the mid 90's. A console gamer..well since way back when Atari had "Asteroids, Breakout, Centipede, Combat, Missile Command, Pong and Tempest" out.

Anywho, I am looking to find a nice keyboard that is going to last me a long while. While I am a gamer, I also am a typist meaning, I type quite a-bit of things that has nothing to do with gaming, therefore my keyboard has to have very nice keys in size and comfort.
I am 6'3 with a hand span of just under a foot from thumb tip to little finger tip and when I have my hands on my current keyboard my little finger sits on the "Enter" key and my thumb rests just below the "B' key. And this is with me having to cup my hand some to stay in the general area of the keys.

I am currently using a G510s keyboard and the keys are so close together its almost painful to type more than a few lines. Forget typing my novel I am currently working on. For reference, I have a small 15.4" Sager gaming laptop with a standard keyboard, for that small of a keyboard the keys are huge. I have no issues typing on that. Its so comfortable that I now take notes on it while I in class. However, at home I have a nice set up for gaming and don't like to sit leaning over a desk to see the small 15.4" laptop screen.

I would like to get a mechanical keyboard. The keys need to be a slightly bit larger and not have sharp corners and I spend more time backspacing as my fingers keep sideswiping the keys. Ther term buttery smooth comes to mind but there are only really a couple things that I really require to be "buttery smooth"..and well i am just not going to go into that here.

So I will await your vast knowledge to point me in the right direction of a large key gamer/typist keyboard. I also applaud your tenacity to read through this entire post. My apologies for being a long winded typist.

Respectfully,

Mereinid

Sorry I can not help you there, with a one keyboard to rule them all. What I did was have different keybards for different usage.

I am a bit taller than you with rather large hands too. I use the Microsoft split ergonomic keyboard 4000 for my day to day usage and writing and a dedicated gaming keyboard for the games.
