I am receiving BSOD's all the time. Mostly when running prime95. The BSOD is KERNAL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE. I have the most up to date BIOS and chipset drivers. I called ASUS tech support and I was told that I may have stressed one of the components when running prime95. I was also told to run memtest86 for 24 hours. I ran it for one hour yesterday with no errors. I do notice when I run prime95, I get a message stating that my vcore is a little too high, so something tells me that I may have damaged the processor. I was having BSOD's on a older ASROCK motherboard without overclocking at all. I notice that when I am in BIOS, I try to adjust the memory frequency to 1866, but it's impossible - It always adjusts to 1872 and the CPU frequency is never an even number. The highest I overclocked the CPU was 4.0GHz, and the temperature never went above 40C running prime95. All of my components are only a couple months old, with the exception of my processor from 2011. Please help.
