Hi guys,
Is it worthwhile upgrading the maximus IV extreme-Z to the Maximus V extreme?

What gains am I likely to see in benching?

Current CPU is the 3770K and the GPU's are 3x AMD 7970's.

Thanks in advance. 🙂

If you're doing competitive benching and every single HWBot point counts, then yeah, go for it. The Z77 chipset supports PCIe 3.0. That should aid your Trifire HD7970 setup.
