Im using X79 Rampage IV Extreme and im using Intel RST Drivers & Software Set v13.0.0.1072
still no Intel Smart Response acceleration avail

My buddy got a Asrock X79 Extreme 11 using Intel RST Driver and Software set v13.0.0.1072
and he can anable smart response

can you tell me why it doesn't work on Asus X79 Rampage IV extreme ?

Looks like it depends on having a RAID configuration - not the type of motherboard or chipset.

Thx for the reply i think i found the reason why Smart Response is not working after your reply
looks like it need a HD to be detected on the intel controller and all my HD's are connected to asmedia 6GB controller
since there's only 2 6gb ports on the X79 intel controller this is where my Raid 0 SSD's is
and im using the others 2 6gb ports avail on the asmedia controller for the 2 HD's i have
i guess if im using the 3GB ports on the intel it will works but i ratter like to used 6gb on my Hd's
