simple question: what will happen if i set the value of this option ( cpu current capability ) to 100% ? by the way i overclock my chip to 4.8 GHZ at 1.33 vcore.
i heard some people said the CPU-VRM will shut off if you are overclocking if you leave it at 100% is that true ? thing is i left it to 100% and overclocking cpu to 4.8 and nothing happens. so could you please tell me is ( cpu current capability ) related to cpu input voltage and what the use of this option ?

Hi Ayman990

The cpu current capability by default is set at 100% and can be raised up to 130% - 140% (160% for x99 boards), what this does is allow the cpu to draw more current if it's needed.

If it's stable with the cpu current capability at 100% there is no need to change it.
