Hello,
Pretty green with overclocking here.
Quick question: does the voltage on an Intel i7 4770K might affect performance?
The reason I ask is because recently I bumped my CPU to 4.2 Ghz and searching online for advice I came across many users stating that they use a voltage of over 1.13V (stock as I read from ark) for 4.2 Ghz
Using CPUZ I can see an idle of 0.880V @ 4.2 Ghz and full load using Prime95 of 0.896V.
The machine is perfectly stable without any crashes, but I wonder why the low voltage (compared to others)?
And more importantly, does a higher voltage yields better performance?

Thank you.
Later edit:
It seems CPUZ is showing the wrong voltage.
Using AIDA32 I can see the real value.

So, false alarm. Sorry for opening a useless topic.
