Hi guys im new in this forum and i just build my 1st gaming desktop last 2-3 months ago.

I just wanted to know all the steps for OC my CPU! Pictures of the bios is more help if you guys can provide it for me!

Also can you guys give me an advice on which SSD should i buy. My target is 80GB to 120GB. Most people says that SSD is betterthan HDD.

Im using my PC to play Ran Online game and Soldier Front of ijji. Reason why im switching to SSD is because im having a slow
loading prob in Soldier Front.

These are my current PC specs:
intel i5-2500k
ASUS Maximus IV Gene-Z/GEN3
CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX650 V2 650W
G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3
EVGA SuperClocked 01G-P3-1563-AR GeForce GTX 560 Ti (Fermi) 1GB 256-bit
OS i windows 7 ultimate 32-bit

im using 32-bit OS cause the ran online game im playing only works for a 32-bit OS

Hopefully someone can help me here and provide the pictures for OC my CPU also i dont have a after market CPU heatsink any suggestions aswell

Please help me guys..

one more thing to mention i have this issue about my CPU before it says over temp that time i was trying to disable the Speedstep and C1 etc. at the bios probably i did something wrong.

Thanks guys

Hello my friend.

There are some guides for your motherboard that can be found in the Maximus sub-forum. Have a read through them and decide which method you want to try. But basically it is real easy to do. Just keep an eye on your temps and you are good to go.

2nd link: http://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?11581-Intel-Smart-Response-Technology-User-Guide&country=&s...

Hello again - yeah that is about it just bare in mind that each CPU is different but for 4.4GHz that will be fine.

SSD and OS

How big is your SSD? If your OS is on the SSD then your system performance will be much faster than if you have a system cache on SSD.
