I'd like to replace the 2x256 SSDs with 2x1TB SSDs. Is it advisable?

I just got a new G750JZ and it has 2x256TB SSDs that were included in this newly purchased laptop. I'd like to replace them with 2x1TB Samsung SSDs. The model number corresponding to the Sandisk ssds is SD6SP1M-256g-1102.

Would this laptop be compatible with these Samsung mSATA ssds if I purchase two of them?

I'm apprehensive about doing that before knowing for certain first because the Sandisk 256gb ssds in my laptop have a slightly different edge to the edge of the Sandisk 256gb ssds. The ones it comes with actually have two gaps along the edge where it plugs into the card and this Samsung mSATA SSD only has one gap. However, where the gap exists in the current Sandisk, it looks like it could still be compatible with this Samsung.

Another thing is that the Sandisk has a hole at the opposite end for one screw to go through the MIDDLE of the Sandisk card and these Samsungs have two holes on either end. But I don't think that I could screw them into the card that way on my laptop.

So I'm not sure. I'm just much more attracted to 2tb vs 512gb since I run a lot of VMs.
Thanks in advance for your advice.
