How to repair pen drive

Is there anybody who can suggest me to recover my child 's first birthday photograph which is stored in my Kingston pen drive. Today when i connect this drive to my laptop, it is shown empty.

Is there any way to recover photos.
Your help will be appreciated.

There are utilities on the internet that can sometimes recover files, from what I understand.
I am disturbed because I cannot break my system...found out there were others trying to cope! We have a support group on here, if your system will not break, please join!

one of the good and powerfull software to recover lost, deleted or formated files is Ontrack EasyRecovery Professional. it can be found on the internet. PM if you'll have trouble finding it. 🙂
