Hello tinnguyen701

Depending how far you plan on overclocking you shouldn't need it but if you want it you could get this.

Hi Nate152, and thanks for your help!!! I just plan but I don't doing OC right now, if I just run with CPU core i7 4790k 4.40 GHz and I just use only 8 pin power connectors on VII formula that's enough power and just fine right? Because i worry when I don't plug in all the power so my system they don't have enough power and they getting trouble. Sorry my English very suck!!!

You should be able to hit 4.9GHz - 5.0GHz with just the 8 pin power cable connected.

Really? Cause someone say I need to be plug in 4 pin and 8 pin ,that make all thing is legal , and I don't know exactly the 4 pin connector they design for what?

As Nate mentioned, the extra 4-pin connector is only needed for extreme CPU overclocking.
