how do i use 3d vision on my rog laptop?

i have a g55vw-dh71 laptop, which is supposed to be 3d ready and have an ir emitter built in, but when i run 3d vision, it says emitter not found. also i cannot seem to get refresh rate ubove 60hz. asus website says it is 3d ready.

There was no 3D version of the G55VW released in North America.

3D ASUS laptops have the identifier -3D in the model number.

The ASUS website shows all possible combinations under the main model.

You can output 3D via HDMI with the right monitor/tv/projector and the NVIDIA 3D TV Play software.
