Help booting for first time

Hi it is the first time i build pc
When i power up the computer the motherboard light up and the mem ok led is flashing but nothing else works when i press the start button nothing happens

I connected the dvi cable correctly and the 6 and 24 pin connector from the power supply correctly

my specs are:
asus maximus v formula
intel i7 2770k(arctic silver 5)
corsair h80
gtx 660ti
corsair vengeance 2x8gb
corsair hx 1050

I'm not aware of the 2770k CPU... it's a 2700k or a 3770k?

Which 6 pin connector are you talking about?! Did you plugged in the CPU power cable? That's a 8 pin (4+4) connector... the 6 pin is for the graphic card (PCIe)...

sorry i mean 3770k and yes i also mean 8 pin
its night and i am working o this computer for 4 hours

Tripple check all the connections and make sure the RAM sticks are seated properly right down in the correct slots. Have you tried pressing the mem ok button. Does the BIOS version support the CPU?
