HD400 and discrete GPU question.

I was running a benchtest for my new GPU and noticed the results showed it was actually the HD4000 (incidentally impressive stats), I disabled the HD4000 in system/devices.

Have any other ROG'ers with i5 3570k disabled their onboard graphics?

Many Thanks

Lost me there. Not sure what you are asking sorry mate?

Where do you have your VGA cable connected too?

Hi mate vga was attached to 7970, just noticed when I ran Unigine the results indicated the HD4000 was being put through its paces scoring 3724 (low fps 56.2 - high 244.8) - I found this hard to believe, but disabled the HD4000 and re-ran the test. This time the results table indicated the 7970 was being benchmarked. Score - 3867 (low fps: 61.5 - high: 258.5).

I think the first test is unreliable, maybe a issue with Unigine

Ah I see, yeah there is no way at all that the Intel HD4000 could get even a third of that score if it was running the benchmark.

Yep I agree.

Opinion? re-enable HD400?
