AMD and Nvidia are about to put out their HBM stacked memory cards and Asus is still going to use the lame ass PCI express nonsense on their boards. What a shame, these cards are so much faster than anything PCI can offer even the 4.0 nonsense that everyone is going to lie about how much faster it will be. Nvidia wants Nvlink because PCI is such a joke for speed and Asus is still clinging on to this stupid tech. What a shame

I'm not an expert by any means and I don't quite understand what you are saying, no gpu can max out pcie 3.0 at the moment. It is up to the gpu itself how fast your games will play, that is to say what model of gpu you choose. And if they do away with pci express, what will we plug our gpu's into?

Explain a little more and help me to understand please. If there is a newer technology other than pci express for gpu's I would like to know about it.
