ok so i recenrly got a Corsair h100 for my computer, i have it all mounted and stuff but the pump is making a rattling sound like a HDD access, i was wondering if any1 knew a way to fix this issue, iv emailed corsair and they told me to lay down the computer for a few days to get rid of bubbles but that didnt work, i led the computer down for about 3 days and was on for alot of the time.
however, when the computer is led down the sound goes away but when it is standing its there, im thinking its mostly likly the pump turbine or something.
has any1 had the same issue, or know of any1 with the same issue.
if any1 can find a solution please tell me cause i dont want to ship this back to corsair and now have a working computer for about 2 weeks 😕

here is my build:
AMD fx-6100, Asus crosshair V forumula 990fx, Corsair vengeance 16gb 1866MHZ ram, Nvidia MSI GTX 670 OC edition, Antec 1200 case, Antec CP-850W psu, OCZ Vertex 3 120gb SSD, WD 1tb cavier Green HDD.

i herd that it was possible that the voltages where to high for it from my psu, making the pump spin to high

Mm, that happens..

Connect the pump to a fan controller, and lower the voltage with a few %.. That do the trick..

Performance still good, and silent..

My last H100 was everything but inaudible , sounded like a powerdrill..

After i added the cheap controller, its now silent..

Sorry for the mess (photo), the build is under fine-tuning..

Ps: Take the 12v power from the psu direct-->fan controller..

nice, will it be possible to use a normal case mounted fan controller? (front panel)

Yes..

But it's also easy to "fumble" with the knob, and accidentally cause system shutdown..

Use as less advanced controller u can, for the pump. And dont mess with the controller.. its there, its doin the job..
Keep it manual..

Important...

In my config, i dont have the fans connected via the pumphouse.. The Voltage from the fan controller, is only supplying the pump with juice... No fans on that rail..
