GTX Titan Quad-SLI & Rampage IV Extreme Break New 3DMark 11 Records

All three 3DMark 11 present records have been smashed by Andre Yang wielding four Titan’s and a Rampage IV Extreme!
The four GeForce GTX Titan’s were ran between 1.4-1.45GHz with memory running at 7.1GHz (effective), while the Core i7-3970X ran at just over 5.7GHz. Naturally everything was super-chilled using LN2.

All the info one needs to learn this level of electronics is on the web. After that, it's down to your ingenuity and desire to not settle until you've tried it all. That's always how it has been with hard mods.

LOL, Raja, that's what i call "specific locations"! But thanks, think I've got it...

Maybe look into a course in electronics if you want to get into it and really want to progress. If you really want to compete you need that knowledge.

so... I see that the internet has been holding out on me. I am slightly disappointed but theres nothing i can do about that now. Thanks for posting that stuff.

I also agree that it sucks it is so difficult to get "cherry-picked" chips. Also that it is so difficult to get good ram. Such as all the Pi ram and ___ ram. I was between avixir 2400 on newegg and samsung green and got samsung in the end. it seems like all the good ram is discontinued though.

maybe titan could get better with gpu hotwire?

These records are also pure marketing. The cost of destroying a few cards will be well worth the press to ASUS but to mere mortals pouring volts through a GPU is going to end in tears. If OCing is your business, the cost of a few cards is trivial. If OCing is a hobby pushing quite so hard makes little financial sense. Also, it's a competition so no one is going to give away absolutely everything for free!

I would love to get paid to overclock but there are much better overclockers than I that don't have a job doing that. How do you even get a job doing that.. I still have college to do...

Yeah I know what you mean Menthol...so fingers crossed!...I like my 680s but I would have liked them better if they had been GK110...just hope AMD can compete next round and bring these top end cards down in price a bit because Nvidia can charge what they like at the moment. But since the GPU is quite possibly on its last legs as a discrete unit maybe they aren't up for the fight? Looking forward to the next round anyway...

I'm just a regular guy on air! I'm using RIVE, I'm currently third mark11 performence.. I love this board ! It's my third one! Would not could not go any other route
