Are you running on battery or plugged in?
Are you in balanced or high performance mode?
There's no indication of CPU temp and CPU use. GPU is only hitting 72C, but it looks like the max clock was 405?

the laptop is plugged in and set to high performace..... and i found my cpu is hitting 90c.......

and my fan is not pushing a lot of air

Your CPU is probably throttling then, which means the GPU is waiting for the CPU to catch up. Are you running it on a hard surface so it can get some air? You can monitor the frequency in PerfMon or CoreTemp.

If yes, call ASUS tech support and explain the CPU is overheating.

well i voided the warranty when i installed the i7-3610qm... i used throttlestop to disable 3.1ghz turbo and set it to 2.5ghz. now, the game runs fine... i might have to redo the thermal paste.

OK well that's the prob 😄 You need to redo the paste and make sure the heatpipe is screwed in tight to assure heat transfer. If you have a thermal probe and are feeling brave, you could try running it with the case off and touching the heatpipe with the probe to check the heat is being efficiently transferred.

Yeah BF4 is hard on the CPU (and GPU), even on desktop systems. What's more, it's very buggy, so it is hard to discern whether problems are HW related or just game bugs.

Overclocking is useless to me if it is not rock stable.
