GPU-Z showing wrong clock values???

Hi.
I just got my new Strix 1070Ti advanced edition and I notice that the the clock speeds in gpu-z are higher than what its advertised has having.
Gpu-z shows 1607/1683 but my card should have 1683/1759 clocks.
Did I get the wrong card or is it something with gpu-z?
I appreciate all help on the matter!

What happens if you install and Run GPU Tweak II and then enable OC mode and apply , then run GPU-Z ? The speeds listed in the specs are the OC speeds not the default. You need to enable the OC mode to get the OC speeds. Otherwise the card runs at the defaults.

The top row in GPU-Z shows the current values the bottom row (default) shows the default values. Right now without enabling OC mode you are at the default cocks for base and boost 1607/1683 both rows current and default are reporting the same. Once you enable the OC mode I suspect that you will see in the top row the base clock of 1683 and boost clock 1759 as listed in the specs for your card.

Here is an example one without the OC setting applied with GPU Tweak II and the other with it enabled. Notice in both instances my bottom row Default Clocks are the same but the upper row shows the current setting. My 1070 in the system I'm on now is a GTX1070-O8G-Gaming so my clocks will be different than yours but you get the idea.

I'm pretty sure 1683 should be the default core clock.
I did what u suggested but nothing changed.(attachment)
Also,it seems strange that I have to use software to get the advertised clk speeds.

It is needed. You can set it (GPU Tweak) to auto start with your PC and load the profile or, you can launch it and apply the OC profile when you're going to start gaming or whatever workload you are about to run that you desire the OC profile for. This is an Asus forum and you have an Asus card so I had to first target GPU Tweak but, there are other over clocking software's that people use. You might want to check out the NVIDIA GRAPHICS CARDS forum https://rog.asus.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?118 , there are several good overclocking guides set as stickies.

I don't think you can fault Asus for this at least not on the 1070TI. IIRC Nvidia requires all the Add In Board (AIB) partners to ship 1070TI at base clock. The 1070TI comes extremely close in performance to a 1080 and Nvidia did not want to undermine it's own product line. I believe that's why packaging for those cards does not mention OC edition etc rather they have names like Advanced, Gaming etc.
